J1 Loves You. How to love us back! 100% listner supported J1 Radio.
    Every year, J1 is listener supported. This is normally done by revenues earned VIP listening or through the purchase of items on our website. Every December 1st, we pay a yearly rate to Live365 which includes our music licensing and our ability to stream. In 2012, we would like to grow the station with more programming and information for our Japan and worldwide audiences.

Live365 VIP Membership
    As you know, J1 Radio is free to listen to however there is a limit to the number of free listeners we can have on at one time. With a Live365 VIP Membership, you are able to listen to J1 (and thousands of other Live365 stations) anytime without having to worry about a busy signal. Live365 VIP members can listen to J1 through a desktop application that bypasses both the Live365 and J1 websites. During periods that J1 is on basic mode, you will not hear audio ads*.

    J1 receives signiicant support when you initially sign up for VIP membership (not when you renew).
    J1 also receives support during the time you are actually listening to J1 with a VIP membership.

Hardcore J Friends
    Through World Friends Network, you can meet new people around the world and get to know them.

    J1 receives significant support when you subscribe to Hardcore J Friends and when you renew your membership. (Hardcore J was J1's former name prior to 2009.)

CD Japan
    1_General CDJapan You love the music on J1, now you can buy your favorite JPOP directly from Japan without the high costs normally associated with buying "imports". CD Japan is an English language website with a very wide selection of Japanese music, new and old. They also feature DVDs, electronics and even apparel.

    J1 receives support when you purchase products from CD Japan and you use links on the J1 website, the Live365 playlist window or through the J1 Radio Live Playlist Service on Twitter.

    Sometimes, the best way to show your love is to donate straight up to who you want to show your love to. Through PayPal, you can donate directly to J1 Radio through our account at REC Networks. Please remember though, J1 is not a tax-exempt non-profit organization so your donations to J1 can not be used for a deduction on U.S. income taxes but if you want the most direct way to love us back, this is how you do it!

* - The VIP Membership is subject to 200 hours per month of listening without Live365-placed third-party ads. Upon reaching this 200-hour limit, the VIP Member may continue to access and listen to Live365 stations, but those transmissions above the 200-hour limit will include Live365-placed ads.
